Baylor key contributor out for season, Dave Aranda announces

Baylor is going to be without a key contributor for its Week 1 showdown with Auburn and the rest of the 2025 campaign.

On Saturday evening, Bears coach Dave Aranda announced that junior running back Dawson Pendergrass is out for the season. Pendergrass recently injured his foot.

“He’s out for the year. It’s too bad,” Aranda told reporters. “That’s a definite misfortune. He’s going to have to get surgery on his foot.”
