India wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel, on Thursday, was named the captain of the Central Zone team for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2025, starting this month. Jurel was recently part of the IND vs ENG series, and played the lest Test. The youngster has been in the scheme of things for the Indian team for some time now, and is looked as a future prospect.

Apart from him, the team has international stars like Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana and also Anshul Kamboj. Though the participation of these stars might not be confirmed, since some of them could be called for Asia Cup duties, that starts in September.
