A hillside brush fire in Rancho Bernardo has burned roughly five acres, but crews are making progress toward halting its spread, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The blaze was seen off Camino Del Norte and Bernardo Center Drive around 2:30 p.m., according to the nonprofit fire reporting service Watch Duty, with helicopters responding along with ground crews.
An evacuation warning, has been issued for an area north of Bernardo Center Drive, south of Camino Del Norte at Camino San Bernardo, east of Dove Canyon Road at Camino San Bernardo and west of Bernardo Center Drive.
There are no reports of structural damage or injuries.
