Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb is not happy with how the Micah Parsons situation has unfolded.
Parsons publicly requested a trade on Friday afternoon as he and the Cowboys front office are embroiled in a contract dispute. Parsons has developed into one of the NFL’s best defensive players and he’s set to enter the final year of his rookie contract in 2025.
However, the Cowboys have not been able to successfully negotiate an extension for the former Penn State star. In fact, according to Parsons, the Cowboys front office has had zero contact with his agent about an extension. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones also took a public jab at Parsons earlier this offseason, which he cited as another factor in his decision to request a trade.
The drama with Parsons’ deal has caused Lamb to have a negative reaction. He shared a message on social media that was supportive of Parsons:
Never fails dawg. Just pay the man, what you owe em. No need for the extra curricular ?
— CeeDee Lamb (@_CeeDeeThree) August 1, 2025Lamb, a former first-round pick out of Oklahoma, has some recent experience in dealing with the Cowboys’ front office. Lamb held out of training camp last August before agreeing to a 4-year, $136 million deal with Dallas.
At this time, it’s unclear if the Cowboys will entertain a trade for Parsons.
