The city of Greeley will host a community open house to help shape the future of east Greeley.
Residents are invited to drop in and share their thoughts about what the city’s east side should look like in the next 10-20 years from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at Zoe’s Café and Events, 715 10th St.
Project team members will give a short presentation at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Attendees will be able to explore hands-on activities to provide input.
City officials are gathering feedback for the East Greeley Subarea Plan, which focuses on the unique features of the area, such as the Greeley-Weld County Airport, Linn Grove Cemetery and agricultural farmland. In addition to community input, the city will build the plan with other strategic priorities and the Greeley on the Go plan that looks to improve transportation options in the city.
Residents in attendance will be invited to complete a short survey that will guide the next steps of the plan. Light refreshments will also be served at the event.
