Brian Kelly broke some news regarding his ever-shifting offensive line on the first day of LSU’s fall camp on Wednesday.
The headliner from the Tigers head coach was that redshirt sophomore Tyree Adams has already won the left tackle job. Brian Kelly had earlier said that Adams was going to be pushed for the left tackle position and the huge responsibility of replacing star Will Campbell. But later Kelly reversed course and said that the mammoth 6-foot-7, 310-pound Adams was his guy at left tackle.
Adams is a Louisiana product from Marrero, and he’ll get the opportunity to replace Campbell, an All-SEC player from 2022-24 and a consensus All-American in 2024. Campbell was the 4th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, so Adams will have some big shoes to fill this fall.
Kelly had a lot to say about the other positions on his 2025 offensive line. Here is some of what he broke down as LSU began fall camp on Wednesday:

Adams has appeared in 9 games during his LSU career, starting 2 of them. Now, it looks like he’s getting the chance of a lifetime for the Tigers in 2025.
