‘Love and Mercy’
The Sunnyvale Public Library is screening “Love and Mercy,” the 2015 biopic about the late Beach Boys musician Brian Wilson, on Aug. 5 at 1 p.m.
Paul Dano and John Cusack both portray Brian Wilson at two different times in his life: as a young man in the 1960s recording the classic album “Pet Sounds” while struggling with mental illness, and as a middle-aged man getting a second chance at life and love.
This program is for adults, as the movie is rated PG-13. It will be presented with English captions for the hard of hearing. Registration is not required, but seating in the library’s program room is first come, first served.
The library is located at 655 W. Olive Ave.
