A police investigation is underway in Arlington Heights after a person was shot in the face early Friday morning.
Around 3:20 a.m. Friday, Cook County Sheriff’s police responded to a report of a person shot in the face in the 3900 block of Galesburg Avenue near Arlington Heights, authorities said.
At the scene, officers located the male victim and began life-saving measures, authorities said. The man was transported to a local hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time.
Detectives are on the scene as of 8:45 a.m. Friday and the investigation, authorities said.
