With much of summer in the rearview mirror and time winding down to visit amusement parks, Six Flags is making the most of this season and looking ahead to next year, crafting some new vacation ideas for families in the process.
In celebration of the first anniversary of the merger between Six Flags and now-defunct Cedar Fair, Six Flags is launching its 2026 season pass, offering full access to all of the company’s parks through the rest of this year and for all of 2026.
The offer spans over 40 amusement, water and animal parks across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, with plenty of other benefits included.
All 2026 Six Flags Great America Gold and Prestige passes purchased or renewed from July 31 through Sept. 1 will include the exclusive benefit, featuring free parking and bring-a-friend passes for the end of 2025.
Across the chain’s parks, guests have access to 133 miles of track on 288 roller coasters, with nearly 1,000 water slides and 234 pools as well.

In addition to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, passholders can also visit other Midwest parks such as Cedar Point and Kings Island in Ohio, Michigan’s Adventure and Six Flags St. Louis.
A full list of parks owned by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation can be found here, though Six Flags America and its accompanying Hurricane Harbor in Maryland will close at the conclusion of the 2025 season.
