Willits Community Theatre is going out with a bang this summer as the Mosaic Series wraps up with three performances of Unhinged! A High Fashion Show on July 25, 26 and 27.
Directed and choreographed by award-winning Willits-born artist Pearl Marill, Unhinged blends dance, comedy, music, and truly outrageous fashion into one unforgettable performance.
The show features a cast of local performers wildly strutting their stuff in looks pulled from thrift stores, garages, and long-forgotten boxes, with results that are equal parts hilarious and haute couture. Starring in the shows are Pranarama, Ted, Halesbelles, Jesh Boogie, Madam King, Sasha Thomas, Bhavvy Ducharme, Abby Taylor, and Pearl Marill.
Director Marill says, “These are artists who’ve poured their hearts and sequins into this original hometown spectacle.” Expect a high-energy experience with sequins, chaos, and a few surprises along the way.
Shows are on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 at 7 p.m., and a Sunday matinee on July 27 at 2 p.m. Each performance will be followed by a fashion sale, with actual show costumes available for purchase at the final Sunday matinee.
All shows are for ages 21 and over. Tickets are $20 at the door or available online at wctperformingartscenter.org.
