DENVER (KDVR) -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Monday morning said a crash has closed U.S. 285 northbound south of Morrison.
The closure is on U.S. 285 at Colorado 8, according to a sheriff's office post on X just before 6 a.m.
The crash involved three vehicles, but the sheriff's office did not say how many people were injured. SkyFOX flew over the scene just after 6 a.m., where at least three ambulances could be seen, as well as first responders actively working on the involved vehicles.
The sheriff's office said the road could be closed for an "extended period of time," and the Colorado State Patrol in a post said it is unknown when the road will open.
