The collision was reported at approximately 7:38 p.m. along West Jackson Avenue near Cicero Boulevard. According to police, a 40-year-old man was driving a white SUV westbound and then turned southbound, at which point he struck three teenager girls who were using the crosswalk.
The victims – a 13-year-old, 15-year-old and 16-year-old girl – all sustained injuries and were taken to an area hospital. They were all reported to be in fair condition, police stated.
