A number of big names will take the stage at this summer’s Illinois State Fair, from country music legends to one of the most popular rappers of all time.
While the fair will kick off on Aug. 7 at the Illinois State Fairground in Springfield, musical entertainment on the grandstand won’t take place until the following day. Country music artist Jake Owen, along with 1990s country superstar Jo Dee Messina, will perform beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8.
And their performance will be just one taste of the entertainment.
