During the Divide layer, you'll be presented with a decision between two different paths, with vastly different environments to explore on either side.
So, if you're wondering which path to take in this situation, here's everything you need to know.

We'll get right to the point here. Not only does it not matter which path you choose in The Divide, but you'll actually have to complete both of them to progress anyway.
The left path leads to up to a snowy area where you can break a Void Stake to unlock the path down to the Freezer Layer, where you need to help the Elder Kong to prevent VoidCo from freezing the entire layer solid.
The right path leads to a Void Stake that opens up the path to the Forest Layer, where you can unlock the Ostrich Bananza and help clean up some poison water.
The fact of the matter is, you need to complete both the Frozen Layer and the Forest Layer if you want to continue, so once you've beaten one of them, you have to return to this point and do the other one.
For that reason, we think that you should probably do the Frozen Layer first, as it comes first in the ordered layout of levels, coming in at SL 500-503 compared to the Forest Layer's SL 600-602.
But while that's our recommendation, it really doesn't matter which one you choose, so if you feel like unlocking that Ostrich Bananza first, knock yourself out!
