(KRON) -- A person was killed after a head-on crash Tuesday evening on Highway 84 near Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The crash happened around 6:19 p.m.
Highway 84 in both directions at I-680 and I-580 is currently closed, Caltrans posted on X at 7:40 p.m..
CHP estimates that the road will be closed until at least 9:30 p.m. According to CHP's incident log, a gray Lexus and blue Honda were involved in the crash.
