English darts player Rob Cross is in Germany to defend his Baltic Sea Darts Open title as the tournament gets under way.
He is joined by world number one Luke Humphries and World Youth Champion Gian van Veen.
The three-day event, sponsored by Elten Safety Shoes, will see players from the UK and across Europe compete for the title and a big cash prize.
Now in its third year, the tournament will kick off on Friday, with 16 matches over two sessions before second and third rounds whittle down the players for Sunday evening’s quarters, semis and finals.

There are 48 players from across the UK and Europe competing in the Baltic Sea Darts Open 2025, including Luke Humphries, Rob Cross and Nathan Aspinall from the UK.
Sixteen places go to the top 16 of the PDC Order of Merit and enter in round two and 16 places go to the top 16 of the PDC ProTour Order of Merit (excluding players already qualified via the PDC Order of Merit).
Then 10 places go to Tour Card Holder Qualifiers, four go to Host Nation Qualifiers.
One place goes to the winner of the Nordic & Baltic Associate Member Qualifiers and one goes to the winner of the East European Associate Member Qualifiers.
