Brown was brought on in the spring of 2024 at Ole Miss. He has helped oversee some key recruiting pushes, including prominent work in the transfer portal each of the past 2 offseasons.

The reported departure follows shortly on the heels of news that another staffer is leaving Oxford. According to reports, LSU is luring away Kelvin Bolden to join the staff of Brian Kelly in Baton Rouge.

Bolden has served as the Coordinator of Recruiting Strategy for the Rebels. The Tigers are reportedly targeting Bolden for a high-ranking front office role.

On one hand, other teams having an interest in the off-field staff of Kiffin speaks to the stability and progress he has made in Oxford. However, it puts a bit of pressure on Ole Miss to find the right replacements now that there is some positive momentum for the Rebels.
