Country music legend Pat Green mourned a "heartbreaking" family loss in the Texas floods that killed more than 100 people so far.
On Monday, July 9, the "Carry On" singer, 53, took to Instagram with a somber update for his followers.

"Over the weekend during the devastating flooding that hit Central Texas, my family—like so many others—suffered a heartbreaking and deeply personal loss," he revealed. "We are grieving alongside countless Texans whose lives have been upended by this tragedy."
Green added, "Right now, we kindly ask for privacy and space as we mourn, support each other, and begin to process what comes next for our family. Thank you for your love, prayers, and compassion."
Although the country crooner didn't share specifics about his personal loss, fans shared words of support in the comments.

On July 4, the Guadalupe River in Kerrville, Texas, rose more than 22 feet in just hours. The death toll of more than 100 includes 27 from an all-girls camp, Camp Mystic.
