PAT McAfee confirmed he will be taking his show on the road again this year.
The former punter turned host has broadcast from a number of sporting events in the recent past.
And McAfee will be at a key event on the Major League Baseball calendar.
He will be heading to Atlanta, Georgia, where All-Star festivities will be taking place.
“Breaking news,” McAfee said during an episode of his show last week.
“We will be live from, I believe it’s called the Roxy Theater, which is connected to Truist Park down there in Atlanta, Monday, the day of the Home Run Derby.
“Shout-out to the MLB for inviting us.
“Obviously, the All-Star Game is on Tuesday. Monday is the Home Run Derby.
“It’s a spectacle of baseball and, obviously, the Home Run Derby is the most electrifying sporting event, year in, year out.”
ESPN also confirmed their broadcast details for the event.
“The Pat McAfee Show will also hit the road for a Derby-day show in Atlanta, Ga,” they said.
“The show will be available live from 12-2 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN+, Disney+, YouTube, and TikTok Live and from 2-3 p.m. on ESPN+, Disney+, YouTube and TikTok Live.
“The Pat McAfee Show will emanate from the Coca-Cola Roxy, adjacent to Truist Park – home of the Atlanta Braves.”
McAfee has a history of broadcasting his show from locations such as the NFL Draft and Super Bowl.
This year he had a disagreement with the NFL over going to Green Bay, Wisconsin for the draft.
McAfee ripped the NFL’s “middle management” and accused them of a “lack of respect.”
He claimed they made things hard for his show when it broadcast from the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana in February.
But he ironed out his issues with the league and made a U-turn.
“Shout out to the NFL folks,” McAfee said on a show before the draft.
“Let’s go shake their hand, try to make a positive out of this entire thing, which we will always try to do in every situation, legitimately.
“There might be some times where it doesn’t feel that way.
“But inevitably going to try to be an additive to everything, so we will be there.
“Full chaos is potentially looming for this NFL Draft.”
