It was second second-highest aggregate in a Test match after Graham Gooch’s 456 runs against India at Lord’s in 1990.

Rishabh Pant’s dismissal in the 2nd innings could read a little differently. Rishabh Pant c Duckett b Shoaib Bashir bat Brydon Carse. The BCCI and the BCB, in a joint statement, announced the postponement of the IND vs BAN white-ball series set for August. The series will now take place in September of 2026. With diplomatic ties between India and Bangladesh deteriorating since the Shaikh Haseena government’s fall in 2024, the government of India did not see it fit for India to travel to Bangladesh, a hostile neighbour.
Sanju Samson, King of Kochi
If Virat Kohli is the King in the north, Sanju Samson has to be the King in the south. As he entered the KCL 2025 2025 auction, Kochi Blue Tigers broke the banks. KBT bid a whopping Rs 26.80 lakh for Samson out of their Rs 50 lakh budget. That’s 53% of the entire squad budget. However, with India touring Australia in October and India’s busy cricket schedule during that time, it is unlikely that Sanju Samson will be available to play in KCL 2025.

In the India U19 vs England U19 Youth ODI series, a 14-year-old Suryavanshi smashed a 52-ball century. That was the fastest Youth ODI ton by any. In other words, a U14 boy bullied a bunch of 19-year-olds with 13 fours and 10 sixes. The Rajasthan Royals wonderkid, who hammered a 35-ball century in IPL 2025, hammered 78-ball 143 in the 4th Youth ODI against England.
