LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — Police are evacuating nearby homes after a house explosion in Leander Thursday evening.
The explosion happened in the 2200 block of Hilltop Climb Drive in the Bluffs at Crystal Falls neighborhood.
In a post on social media, Leander Police said they and Leander FD are actively investigating and have begun evacuating surrounding homes "as a precaution."
The cause of the explosion is currently unknown, as is the extent of any injuries.
