CAITLIN Clark is missing yet another game due to injury.
The Indiana Fever superstar is set to miss Tuesday night’s game against the Minnesota Lynx.
Clark is down with a left groin injury and was hit with a day-to-day designation.
“I think it’s very much a day-to-day thing how she responds to treatment,” Fever head coach Stephanie White said.
“But yeah, found out late last night and we will treat it day-to-day…
“C has shown that she is tough and she’s a quick healer, so we’ll see.”
She already missed games against the Seattle Storm and Dallas Wings, and will now miss a third consecutive game.
After Tuesday’s game, Clark will have missed eight games this season.
She was out for five games earlier in the season with a quad injury that held her out for five games.
If Clark misses one more game, she will officially have missed half of the Fever’s season so far.
The Fever haven’t lived up to expectations this season, partially due to Clark’s injuries.
The team is just 8-8 so far this season, going 5-4 in games with Clark and 3-4 in games without her.
Teammate Sophie Cunningham thinks team injuries are to blame for the struggles.
“I think so far this season we’ve dealt with a lot of distractions,” Cunningham said.
“Some injuries… don’t know who’s playing.”
However, Cunningham also thinks it is good for the team to struggle early so they can come together and rally for the end of the season.
“But I think that’s really good for us. Let’s go through the adversity early, let’s learn from it,” she said.

“The good news is we’re not gonna peak too early, so I mean that’s a positive. It’s not an excuse.
“Everyone’s playing a back-to-back, everyone has this kind of rough schedule.
“For us, it’s another opportunity tomorrow, and we’ve got to capitalize on it.
“We are circled on everybody’s schedule. No one likes us, right? So everyone in our locker room, that’s the only type of people that we have that we can lean on.
“We have got to stay disciplined, we have to stay focused, we need to get consistent, and we got to lean on each other.
“And I think we’ve kind of wavered on that.”
