    PONTEFRACT2.30: Try Storm Cat 4/6 (1.5pts)3.00: I Am Me 15/8 (1pt) WINDSOR6.15: Irish Fighter 10/11 (2pts)6.45: Headmaster 1/1 (1.5pts)7.15: Toca Madera 11/2 each-way (2pts)

    Try Storm Cat

This colt was close to helping us land a treble, as the first two came home first and this horse looked to have the win but was just beaten by a head.

Looks to have this sorted with many rivals without the benefit of a run to their name, where experience could be crucial here.

He’s also got solid form after placing third and second where it looks likely he can learn from this.

    I Am Me

Solid form this season drops do just 3lb higher than when winning comfortably at Musselburgh.

Gets a huge chance in the weights too being the three-year-old and the first time blinkers are an interesting one which may just help him finish the final couple of furlongs stronger.

    Irish Fighter

Under six lengths off of Charles Darwin at Royal Ascot on what was just his second start.

Placed 2nd on debut at Wolverhampton and this just seems to surely be the time for him to win.

Silvestre De Sousa aims for his fifth win in the last two weeks and represents a strong chance on what is his only ride of the day.

    Headmaster

Dubawi’s progeny are always impressive and this gelding almost got off to a winning start on debut.

That form has worked out well too as the winner Elarak went on to win again, over 1m, at Newmarket by over five lengths and now has a rating of 98.

The two horses at Lingfield finished well ahead of favourite Polygram, who was carrying 5lb less as the filly.

She placed a close second to Cajole at Newcastle, who placed a close second herself at Royal Ascot in the Sandringham, featuring 25 runners.

The form really works in his favour and Tom Marquand and trainer William Haggas have a top chance at Windsor again.

    Toca Madera

Both of his wins in his career have been further than 5f including over course and distance in August.

He was just 2lb lower then and now after a few good runs but placing respectably he’s nudged down to a dangerous weight where he can show 6f is perhaps is preferred distance.
