The U.S. Department of Energy says scheduled crude oil deliveries to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) will be delayed until December due to maintenance at SPR sites.
Originally, 15.8 million barrels were slated for delivery from January through May, but only 8.8 million have been received so far. The remaining volumes are now expected to arrive by year-end, marking a roughly six-month delay.
