The Syrian General Civil Aviation Authority announced today, Wednesday, June 25, a series of public tenders for the investment of several services and facilities at Aleppo International Airport, according to the technical, financial, and legal conditions prepared for each service individually.
The authority published on its Facebook page the tenders that include the investment of a booth providing currency exchange services for all types of currencies and financial transfers. The tender for this service is scheduled to take place at noon on Tuesday, July 1, at the Aleppo International Airport building.
Additionally, the authority announced a new tender for investing in baggage transport carts within Aleppo Airport, set for 9 AM on the same day.
The authority also invited investors to participate in another tender for the investment of passenger luggage wrapping services, which will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 1, at Aleppo International Airport.
Meanwhile, the authority announced a tender for investing in a counter with an area of 12 square meters, designated for selling light food products at the airport, scheduled for 2 PM on the same day within the airport.
The authority’s announcement includes a new public tender for investing in a cafeteria on the first floor of the passenger terminal, with the tender to take place at 9 AM on Wednesday, July 2, at the airport.
It also included another tender for investing in a restaurant located on the first floor of the passenger terminal, which will be held at 1 PM on the same day, Wednesday, July 2, within the airport premises.
The Syrian General Civil Aviation Authority emphasized in its statement the necessity for interested investors seeking to obtain the tender documents for each bid to visit Aleppo International Airport or head to the new building of the General Civil Aviation Authority, located at the entrance of Damascus International Airport. It indicated the importance of carefully reviewing the technical, financial, and legal conditions set for each project.
Aleppo city in northern Syria is the economic capital of the country and has played a significant political and economic role over the years. Aleppo International Airport had not received attention during the era of the ousted regime, despite its significant importance as a gateway for the city to the outside world.
