England National Cricket Team got a colossal score of 371 runs to chase in the fourth innings of the Test series opener against India National Cricket Team at Headingley in Leeds.
The Three Lions started off exceptionally well during the run chase as openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley displayed a batting masterclass.
Dukett and Crawley gave a really tough time to the Indian bowlers and made the most of the good batting surface on offer.
After Lunch, the duo continued batting brilliantly and went on to register the highest opening stand in the fourth innings of a Test match since 2000. Overall, they added 188 runs off 256 balls before Krishna dismissed Zak Crawley.
On the second ball of the 43rd over, Prasidh Krishna bowled a fullish ball angling in towards the off-stump, and Zak Crawley went for a drive.
The English batter only managed to get an edge, and the ball flew towards KL Rahul, who didn't make any mistake in slips and grabbed a sharp catch to send Zak Crawley packing for 65 runs off 126 balls.
Prasidh Krishna wasn't done there as in the 45th over, he also cleaned up Ollie Pope with a ripper to help India stage a mini comeback.
On the fourth ball of the over, he bowled a stunning nipbacker to Ollie Pope, who went on backfoot for a punch, but the ball sneaked through and shattered the stumps. Ollie Pope, the centurion of the first innings, was dismissed for 8.

While talking about Ollie Pope's wicket, Ravi Shastri said that the star Indian pacer took the English batter by surprise with a cracking delivery. He said:
"This is a cracking delivery because it's taken Pope by surprise with the one that comes in. Is there a twist in this contest now?"
