GREECE, N.Y. – There was a garage fire on Britton Road near Tait Avenue in Greece on Monday night.
The assistant chief of the Barnard Fire District said the call came in around 8:30 p.m. Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread to the house.
Residents were able to escape safely, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
