(KRON) – The Sunnyvale Police Department arrested a suspect involved in a homicide that occurred last month, the department announced.
A man was killed after a shooting that happened on May 29 at around 7:42 p.m. on the 900 block of S. Wolfe Road. The suspect fled the scene prior to the authorities’ arrival.
Sunnyvale PD identified 44-year-old Sunnyvale resident, Jesus Aguilera, as the suspect.
Person fatally shot, 1 injured in Fremont’s first homicide of the yearAguilera was arrested in Oakland on June 20. Aguilera was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on murder charges.
Sunnyvale PD commended assisting agencies, stating, “We extend our sincere appreciation to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and to the San Leandro and Oakland Police Departments for their assistance.”
