New Delhi: BJD President and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik is set to undergo medical procedure for cervical arthritis in Mumbai on June 22. The BJD leaders and members of Delhi’s Odia community on Saturday offered prayers at the Jagannath Temple in Hauz Khas for his speedy recovery.
An ‘akhand deep’ was lit, symbolizing hope and healing, as they offered heartfelt prayers for the success of his medical procedure, according to media reports.
The BJD leaders said that Naveen believes politics is a spiritual journey driven by a passion to serve the underprivileged, considering every Odia as family. Today, this family stands united in prayer for his health.
The Odia community and BJD leaders expressed optimism for his swift recovery, eager for him to resume his leadership and continue serving Odisha.
