BRIGHTON, N.Y. – A new sculpture by renowned sculptor Albert Paley was unveiled Friday at 12 Corners in Brighton. The piece, titled “Compression,” was created by compressing large pieces of metal.
“Education and culture go hand in hand. It has to do with perception, it has to do with seeing the world in a different way, and hopefully it will have that connection,” Paley said.
Paley, a Rochester-based sculptor, has other works installed around the city, including “Apollo” outside the Metropolitan in downtown Rochester.
