IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — Heads up drivers, part of a busy road in Irondequoit is set to close starting next week.

Irondequoit Police say Lakeshore Boulevard from Kings Highway North to Culver Road will be shut down for storm sewer drainage improvements. The closure begins on Monday, June 23 at 9 a.m. The road will open back up on Friday, June 27 at 5 p.m.

Drivers trying to turn down Lakeshore Boulevard from Kings Highway will be detoured to Titus Avenue and then to Culver Road.
