PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The Pittsford Central School District has canceled classes on Tuesday and announced early dismissal on Monday due to extreme heat.
Early dismissal will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Principals will reach out to families in the district with more details. The district is notifying after-school and daycare providers about these changes.
The First Alert Weather Team is tracking temperatures in the 90s on Sunday through Tuesday, with heat indexes likely to exceed 100 degrees at times due to the humidity. See our latest forecast here.
