CHARLOTTE, N.Y. – With a heat wave on the horizon, public swimming, along with the spray park at Ontario Beach Park, are opening this week for families to cool off.
The spray park opened Thursday morning and will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with extended hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on extra hot days.
Public swimming opens Friday and will be permitted seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Labor Day. However, swimming is prohibited if there isn’t a lifeguard on duty.
