Travis Kelce is showing his appreciation for America’s service members.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end took a moment to thank a group of U.S. Army soldiers before the team’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, October 25. In a video shared by NFL on ESPN, Kelce removed his helmet, placed his hand over his heart, and approached the uniformed service members standing along the sideline.
“Thank you for your service, guys. Much love, baby,” Kelce told the group.

The Chiefs lost to Seattle 20-3 at Lumen Field, suffering their first defeat of the season and falling to 5-1. Kelce finished the game with four receptions for 44 yards, but the veteran tight end still made history during the matchup.
Kelce surpassed former Chiefs star Tony Gonzalez’s record for the most career receiving yards by a tight end, including postseason games. He entered the game needing 35 yards to pass Gonzalez’s total of 15,413 yards.
He also moved into the top five on the NFL’s all-time list for regular-season receptions. Kelce finished the night with 1,103 career receptions, passing both Cris Carter and Marvin Harrison.
The Seahawks weren’t finished celebrating their win after the final whistle. Seattle took a playful shot at Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, with a pair of Swift-inspired social media posts. The team’s mascot, Blitz, appeared in a sparkly, Eras Tour-inspired outfit alongside the caption, “Lately, I’ve been dressin’ for revenge,” referencing Swift’s song “Vigilante S—.”
The Seahawks also shared a photo of friendship bracelets spelling out “Seahawks” and “Win,” captioning the post “End Game,” a nod to Swift’s 2017 song. The bracelets were a particularly fitting reference given Kelce’s now-famous attempt to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it before the pair began dating in 2023.
