ANTIOCH – Crews on Wednesday night were battling a 200-acre fire in Antioch, fire officials said.

By 8:30 p.m., the blaze had swelled from 30 acres to 209 acres and was 0% contained.
One person suffered minor injuries in the fire, the fire district said.
Around 8:50 p.m., the fire district announced an evacuation warning for zone ANT-E003. Earlier in the evening, the Antioch Police Department urged residents near Finch Drive, Markley Creek Drive, Osprey Drive and Cambridge Avenue to be prepared to evacuate.
Canal Park, located at 3200 Gentrytown Drive in Antioch, is serving as an evacuation point.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
