The junior isn’t just a nice piece from the Mid-American Conference. He was a first-team all-conference power hitter at Ball State in 2025, so this is a player who can potentially make a big difference in Starkville in 2026.
Bevis announced his commitment to Mississippi State on Wednesday with a post on his social media account that tells fans how excited he is to join the Bulldogs and the SEC baseball scene. contained a headline that read: “Let’s do it Starkville”.

Although he comes from Ball State, Bevis is a native of SEC country, being originally from Brentwood, Tenn. Bevis was a 2nd-team All-MAC selection while playing first base in 2024. During that 2024 season, he hit .310 with 12 homers and 55 RBIs.
