Dairy Queen is officially kicking off summer 2025 by giving fans the Blizzard flavor they've been asking for season after season.
Almost exactly one month to the day after the cult-favorite chain spilled all the details on its "scrumptious" Superman-inspired Blizzard flavor, it's ready to spin out another super sweet frozen treat–and this is one fans have been waiting for since it first disappeared after its limited-run in the summer of 2022.
Coming back for the season is none other than the fan-favorite Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard Treat, but there's a catch.

Dairy Queen's Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard returns for summer 2025.The returning favorite is described as DQ's version of the "playful summer classic" that features globs of Oreo cookie pieces, gummy worms, and fudgy crumble that's been blended with Dairy Queen's famous vanilla soft serve. It became an instant favorite when it was first released, and so far, the public seems just as pleased over its return, with one fan proudly cheering, "HELL YEAH!!!!" on social media.
"Yay!!!" another wrote before a third declared, "Yum ?."
"It’s even better with chocolate soft serve. ?," someone else suggested.
One more said "ooooh yes i gotta try this ?."
While the treat is back at participating Dairy Queen locations in the U.S. and Canada for a limited time this summer, customers won't see it on menus should they go to order in-store or at the drive-thru and that's because the Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard is coming back as DQ's first-ever digital-exclusive product. Those looking to order it can find it on the DQ app and website starting on the first official day of summer, this Friday, June 20.
Along with the limited-edition Oreo Dirt Pie Blizzard, fans can also enjoy a handful of other flavors only sticking around for the season, including Confetti Cake and S’mores (also from the DQ Freezer) as well as the Mixing Bowl Mashup Blizzard Treat and Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard Treat.
