(KRON) – An intoxicated joyrider was arrested after blowing out a car’s tires in a sideshow, according to the Antioch Police Department.
Recently, Antioch patrol officers were searching for stolen vehicles when the department’s dispatch informed them of a sideshow. Authorities said officers arrived at the scene and saw a black Dodge Challenger doing donuts.
The Dodge’s rear tires blew out while spinning. Per police investigation, the car was stolen, and the driver was found to be intoxicated.
The driver was arrested. Antioch PD said the vehicle was recovered.
