ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Starting Monday, June 16, 490 over the Genesee River in Rochester will have reduced lanes until mid-September.
Lane closures will occur from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Monday, so the State Department of Transportation can paint the Frederick Douglas Susan B. Anthony Bridge.
The work will start with a double right-lane closure east, with posted detours for the South Plymouth Avenue on ramp and the exit 15/South Avenue off ramp.
There will be various signs posted to alert people of changing traffic patterns and additional detours for affected on and off ramps.
The DOT is urging motorists to expect travel delays during this time and are asked to use other routes.
