The brand's matte setting spray has gone viral ten times over (Beyoncé's used it during her Renaissance Tour, it's an editor favorite, the list goes on and on), and it's been my go-to setting spray for at least a year. However, it's matte - which means it's a little drying. And as a girl with dry skin, I benefitted from it keeping my makeup in place, but it didn't quite give me the glazed donut look I longed for.
Enter their newest launch: a product that promises to keep makeup in place all while making me look like the CEO of glow. Would it live up to the hype? After testing it over a week-long period in Barcelona (plus a few days at home in Los Angeles), I have an answer.

This product is a hydrating setting spray with a radiant finish that promises to extend makeup wear up to 12 hours. It's infused with skin-care ingredients like ceramides to soften skin, ginger flower water to plump the skin, and lime pearl extract to gently exfoliate. It's made for dry, normal, and combination skin types. It comes in one size, 3.4 ounces. It is vegan and paraben-free.What I Like About the One/Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray
First and foremost - one thing about me is that I'm always searching for products that will make my skin look like it's lit from within. I don't want to look greasy, per se, but I want to look pretty damn close. I find this difficult to achieve with a heavy amount of makeup, because we all know makeup doesn't last unless you add powder, and we all know powder is mattifying. This product completely changed all of that.
No matter how much powder I apply to my face, I can spritz this on and look like I just got the best facial of my life. In fact, the first time I wore it out, my ex-boyfriend actually told me that my face looked "really glowy." A man noticing that my face is glowing? I'll take 10 more setting sprays, please.
Plus, this product works hard to keep my makeup in place. I wore it during a sweaty week in Barcelona traipsing around the city and at a music festival, and my look stayed locked. Honestly, it's my core belief this product was sent straight from heaven.
How to Use the One/Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray
The brand recommends shaking the product well prior to use. From there, hold the bottle 10 to 12 inches away from the area you want to set, and then spray in a circular motion. It can be applied to the skin before makeup, after makeup to help set the product, or throughout the day to give skin a hydration boost.
Personally, I apply it after finishing my makeup for the night only. I typically spray it to the point where my face looks legitimately wet, and then I fan it using my hands until it dries down a bit. Occasionally, it's looked a little too glowy (is there really such a thing?), and in those instances, I'll blot the areas using a beauty sponge.
What to Consider Before Trying the One/Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray
One thing to note about this product is that it's a hydrating setting spray, made for dry, combination, or normal skin types. If you have oily skin, I'd suggest using the brand's mattifying setting spray, One/Size Up 'til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray ($32).
