PERINTON, N.Y. – The Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department is mourning its former Chief James Keebler.
Keebler died on Sunday, just two weeks shy of his 90th birthday. He served with the fire department for 60 years.
The fire department says he was a mentor, leader, friend and a “shining example of selfless service to our department and community.”
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at St. John of Rochester Church in Fairport. Click here to livestream the mass.
