Bengaluru police have registered an FIR against IPL 2025 champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). Event management company DNA Network have also been charged in connection with the stampede that led to the death of 11 people. The case was charged with criminal negligence after 47 people were injured outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
RCB, KSCA charged with negligence after Stampede
As per News18, the Cubbon Park Police in Bengaluru have charged RCB, event company DNA Network and KSCA following the stampede on Wednesday. The three entities were booked under sections 105, 118 and 120 of the BNS, amounting to negligence. Most of the victims were women and young children.
