Kohli was criticised for his batting strike rate, but now it’s not an issue for him as he has scored runs at a strike rate of 144.71 in IPL 2025 to give fiery starts to his team in the powerplay.
“People have been criticizing him in the past that he wasn’t batting at a strike rate of 140-150. Now, if you look at his batting this season, he has answered that question. He has batted at a strike rate of 140-150 and above. So he has evolved as a batter,” Pujara added.
Pujara applauded Kohli for his strike rate in IPL 2025 and said that he has evolved as a batter in recent times to meet the modern demands of the sport.
