But the younger Fitzpatrick is a talented player in his own right. He’s considered a Top 50 overall recruit by 247Sports’ composite rankings and is rated the No. 3 cornerback in the class of 2026.
And rather than follow in his brother’s footsteps and suit up for Alabama, despite an offer from the Crimson Tide, Justice Fitzpatrick never placed the program among his finalists. Rather, he chose the Bulldogs out of a top 5 that included Florida, Miami, Ohio State, and Texas.
The commitment of Fitzpatrick strengthens a recruiting class that ranks No. 6 in the country, according to 247Sports. Fitzpatrick is currently the 3rd-ranked recruit in the Bulldogs’ class behind 5-star quarterback Jared Curtis and in-state safety Jordan Smith.
