An apparently unfounded bomb threat prompted an evacuation of classrooms at San Elijo Middle School Tuesday while authorities searched the campus grounds and buildings with service dogs.
Deputies assigned to security at the San Marcos intermediary school were notified about the threat shortly before 1:00 p.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
