A suspect was in custody Monday following a SWAT standoff in Lemon Grove.
At around 12:10 p.m. on Monday, deputies responded to a report of assault with deadly weapon in the 1700 block of Skyline Drive near Canton Driver, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
The assault report developed into an ongoing standoff between the suspect and authorities, and a SWAT operation was conducted.
In an update, authorities said the operation had concluded and the suspect was in custody.
