70s Rock Legend, 77, Announces New Tour

Burton Cummings, the legendary frontman and songwriter for Canadian rock band The Guess Who, has announced that he is embarking on a 23-city tour in summer 2025.

The press release teases that the tour "will feature songs from Burton's latest album, A Few Good Moments, along with hits from The Guess Who and his solo career."

    The Guess Who had a string of hits between 1965 and 1974. Arguably, their biggest hit was the No. 1 1970 hit "American Woman." They also topped the charts with "Shakin' All Over," "Laughing," "No Time," "No Sugar Tonight," "Tossin' and Turnin'" and "These Eyes.

    Cummings launched his solo career in 1976 with more than a dozen hit singles, including "Stand Tall." His 1978 solo album Dream of a Child became the first four-times Platinum-selling album by a Canadian musician.

    The tour kicks off June 21 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and continues through the end of August, criss-crossing between Canada and the United States. Tickets are on sale now.
