Mountain Dew has a solution for that. After announcing an updated logo in October, the brand has teased it a few times on social media, prompting fans to celebrate the brand, stating that they have “been waiting a long time to see the Mountain put back into Mountain Dew.” Now, it’s hitting shelves nationwide, and to celebrate, Mountain Dew is launching a sweepstakes for its most dedicated fans.

In a statement shared with Parade, Mountain Dew revealed that, from May 6 through 31, it “will be giving fans who’ve permanently inked the Mountain Dew logo on their bodies a chance to update their tattoos alongside the brand’s refresh.”
Contest winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas, where they’ll get a new Mountain Dew-inspired tattoo from Mario Barth’s Starlight Tattoo Studio at Mandalay Bay.
Though Mountain Dew is refreshing its logo, it’s looking to the past in other ways, with a new commercial that revives its 1980s jingle “Gimme a Dew” with a little help from a brand character called the Mountain Dude, who was introduced in 2024.
