Mumbai Indians (MI) superstar Rohit Sharma came up with a priceless reaction after his lucky escape in the match against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Thursday, May 1.
Rohit Sharma used a last-second review at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur that helped him survive during the 50th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Mumbai Indians (MI) lost the toss and were invited to bat first in the match. Rohit Sharma opened the innings with Ryan Rickelton, and he didn't play his natural attacking brand of cricket.
Rohit looked quite scratchy in the middle, and he was quite cautious while facing Rajasthan Royals fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Fazalhaq Farooqi.
His innings almost ended in the second over, but he somehow managed to survive. On the fifth ball of the second over, left-arm pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi bowled a length delivery on the middle and leg to Rohit, who was through his shot far too early, and the ball hit him on the back leg.
It looked quite plumb at first sight, and the on-field umpire raised his finger. The superstar Mumbai Indians opener also thought he was out, and after a lengthy chat with Ryan Rickelton, he took a review reluctantly as the timer nearly ticked down to zero.
Meanwhile, on the ball-tracker, it was shown that the ball pitched just outside the line of the leg stump, and looking at this, Rohit erupted in joy and loudly said 'yeah' before laughing and smiling.
