Politiciains from the UK’s five biggest parties will debate ahead of this Thursday’s local elections – the biggest electoral test for Sir Keir Starmer since he was elected prime minister.
The televised event will be broadcast from Hull from 7pm. Representing Labour on stage will be Environment Secretary Steve Reed, facing the Conservatives’ Shadow Communities Secretary Kevin Hollinrake and Reform UK’s London assembly member Alex Wilson.
The Liberal Democrats will be represented by its Deputy Leader Daisy Cooper, alongside the Co-Leader of the Greens Adrian Ramsay.
